Mission Statement
To follow Christ and lead others to him.
Mission Prayer
"Everliving God, whose will it is that all should come to you through your Son Jesus Christ: Inspire our witness to him, that all may know the power of his forgiveness and the hope of his resurrection; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen."
Biblically Equipped

All of us, at one time or another, have gone on a vacation and forgotten an important piece of our "equipment." Perhaps we left a particular clothing item behind, or we forgot to bring our camera, or perhaps we've even gotten to the airport without our tickets - that really cuts the vacation short! Often, as a family, we would go camping. We would pack, and we always tried to be very diligent about remembering all of our camping equipment, but inevitably, something very important would be left behind. I remember one trip when I forgot my flashlight; so once the fire was out, there was no more light!
In the same way, we need "equipment" in our journey as followers of Jesus. Without that equipment, we have additional challenges along the way. Christ Care groups spend time in what is called "Biblical Equipping." In many ways, we aren't fully "equipped" as Christ-followers, if we do not understand or spend time reading, studying, discussing, and praying the Scripture. Christ Care groups equip members with all these necessary components for a vibrant and lively faith. Without this piece of equipment, our faith journey just isn't the same. Christ Care Biblical Equipping is not for experts only! Instead, Christ Care groups seek to make the Word of God at home in our hearts, and in the way we live our lives. Don't continue your journey without the proper equipment!
