Mission Statement
To follow Christ and lead others to him.
Mission Prayer
"Everliving God, whose will it is that all should come to you through your Son Jesus Christ: Inspire our witness to him, that all may know the power of his forgiveness and the hope of his resurrection; who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen."
Becoming a Member
Those who attend St. Martin’s regularly usually fall into one of the following categories:
Confirmed Communicants: Baptized persons who have been confirmed or received into the Episcopal Church either by confirmation, reception or having a letter of transfer sent from another Episcopal Church. These members also must make an annual financial pledge to support the ministry of our church.
Baptized Members: All baptized persons of any age (including children) whose names are enrolled either by baptism, letter of transfer, or personal request. Adults may have their names enrolled as Baptized Members, but still not be confirmed Communicants. These members also make an annual pledge to support the ministry of the church.
Prospects: Persons who are visiting our church and have not decided whether to become a Confirmed or Baptized member.
If you would like to have a letter of transfer sent from another church please contact the Secretary to the Rector by phone at 404.228.0752.
If you have not been yet been baptized, please attend our weekly “Welcome to the Episcopal Church” classes on Sunday mornings and speak to one of our clergy about scheduling your baptism.
If you have further questions about joining St. Martin’s please contact the Secretary to the Rector at 404.228.0752.
