Youth Calendar

God has truly blessed us with our young people.

St. Martin’s provides a place for our youth to experience God’s love, become familiar with the people and events of the Bible, and learn the teachings of Jesus Christ as we offer the foundations for a lifetime of growth in faith.  The teachers, clergy and staff are committed to creating a welcoming environment that nurtures and supports each young person.  With guidance from the Church and support from their parents and congregation, our youth will be able to use the Anglican model of balance between the scriptures, the traditions of our Church and reason to begin a lifelong study and journey of faith.

God our Father, you see your children growing up in an unsteady and confusing world:  Show them that your ways give more life than the ways of the world, and that following you is better than chasing after selfish goals.  Help them to take failure, not as a measure of their worth, but as a chance for a new start.  Give them strength to hold their faith in you, and to keep alive their joy in your creation; through Jesus Christ our Lord.

The Book of Common Prayer, 829

Holly & TJ Muehleman

At St Martins, we seek out our young adults, offer support and encouragement, include them in parish projects and events, and invite them to do God’s work alongside us as they integrate themselves as adults into the life of the parish.  They volunteer in the nursery, children’s Sunday school, the library, as Lay Eucharistic Ministers, Ushers, Mentors for Rite 13, and teach 6th grade.

Note to parents: The complete “Journey to Adulthood” curriculum is available for your review and located in the Parish Library in Nicholson Hall.

We welcome your comments and support.
