Offertory Anthem: Draw Us in the Spirit’s Tether: Harold Friedell

Draw us in the Spirit’s tether,
For when humbly in Thy name,
Two or three are met together
Thou are in the midst of them;
Alleluia! Alleluia!
Touch we now Thy garment’s hem.

All our meals and all our living
Make as sacraments of Thee,
That by caring, helping, giving
We may true disciples be.
Alleluia! Alleluia!
We will serve Thee faithfully.

thy keeper will never slumber

Offertory Anthem: The Glorious Spirits Shine: Crawford R. Thoburn

How bright these glorious spirits shine!
whence all their white array?
How came they to the blissful seats
of everlasting day.
Lo! these are they from suff’rings great,
who came to realms of light,
And in the blood of Christ have washed
those robes which shine so bright.

  Now, with triumphal palms, they stand
before the throne on high,
And serve the God they love,
amidst the glories of the sky.
God's presence fills each heart with joy,
tunes ev’ry voice to sing:
By day and night, the sacred courts
with glad hosannas ring.

Hunger and thirst are felt no more,
nor suns with scorching ray;
God is their sun, whose cheering beams
diffuse eternal day.
The Lamb which dwells amidst the throne
shall o’er them still preside;
Feed them with nourishment divine,
and all their footsteps guide.

In pastures green God leads the flock,
where living streams appear;
And God’s own hand from ev’ry eye
shall wipe away each tear.
How bright these glorious spirits shine
with all their white array;
together at the blissful seat
of everlasting day!

Offertory Anthem: We Will Remember Them: Ian Higginson

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning
We will remember them.

Offertory Anthem: Cantate Domino (Psalm 98): Giuseppe Pitoni

Sing praise to God on high, sing praises!
Give thanks to the Lord, sing praise for He is your redeemer.
O praise Him in His sanctuary,
And come before Him with praise and thanksgiving.

Sing praise to the Lord,
give thanks for his excellent greatness!
O praise Him, for His love endures for ever.
Bow before Him, honor and adore Him.

For it is good to give thanks to Him!
Rejoice and be glad in Him,
for He is our God, and we are His people,
the sheep of his pasture.
Sing praises with thanksgiving for our God is good.
