Fellowship for Children

St. Martin’s offers an interactive, engaging, and welcoming Children’s Ministry Program for children 3 years old to fifth grade. St. Martin’s Children's Ministry joyfully welcomes all to explore faith, excite the soul, and grow spiritually in the love of Christ. We offer programming every Sunday to engage children in the stories, teachings, and love of Christ to help build the faith that is already within them.

Sunday Morning Children's Formation

Children’s Formation occurs most Sundays from 10:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. and welcomes Pre-K-aged children through 5th graders.

The whole church is currently engaging in a curriculum centered on our Outline of Faith, commonly called the Catechism. Children meet on Sundays at 10:00 a.m. in 2 different formation groups, Building Faith (3 years old - 1st grade) and Growing Faith / Learning Faith (2nd grade - 5th grade), to learn the week's material.

Formation is located in Lower Pierce Hall. There are a variety of dedicated Children’s Ministry leaders who lend their time and talents to teaching formation on Sunday mornings.

Sometimes, children participate in intergenerational formation offerings that welcome the entire church community to participate in Formation Hour together on a given Sunday.

All are welcome to join the Children’s Ministry Program and Children’s Formation offering at St. Martin’s!

St. Martin’s Wonder church

St. Martin’s Wonder Church is a worship service for all ages but is particularly geared toward children and youth. At St. Martin’s Wonder Church, we play music, pray, create various offerings, and tell the Gospel story in community. All are welcome to this alternative eucharistic service where you won’t sit still.

St. Martin’s Wonder Church occurs inside the church most Sundays from 9:00 a.m. - 9:50 a.m. On the first Sunday of each month, St. Martin’s comes together for ONE St. Martin’s, a eucharistic service that contains some Wonder Church elements.

Wonder Church Breakfast

On many Sunday mornings before Wonder Church, all families are invited to Wonder Church Breakfast at 8:30 a.m. in Gable Hall. On ONE St. Martin's Sundays, we do not have Wonder Church Breakfast.

Wonder Church Breakfast serves as a time for connection and fellowship among St. Martin's children and families. Simply come as you are, enjoy light food and refreshments (provided), and spend time together before Wonder Church begins at 9:00 a.m.

We gather in Gable where tables are set up in addition to games and activities for kids. The nursery is also available beginning at 8:30 a.m.

St. martin’s nursery

St. Martin’s nursery is open on Sundays from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. On the first Sunday of each month, the nursery is open from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The nursery is staffed by wonderful caregivers, and they are excited to minister to St. Martin’s youngest parishioners. Our nursery welcomes infants and children through to age three. Please contact Sydney Phillips with any further questions.
