Joining a choir at St. Martin in the Fields here in Atlanta is easy! No audition is required. The Anglican heritage of music is important to St. Martin’s, so we offer opportunities to get involved in and enjoy music for all age groups and levels of interest. Reflections on Joining a Choir
Brad Smith recently spoke with the congregation about what singing in a choir has meant to his children. His comments speak to everyone - child or adult. If you have ever wondered if singing in a choir or playing in the handbell choir is for you or your child, hear what Brad has to say.
MUSIC AT ST. MARTIN'S
The Anglican Church has a particularly rich heritage of music, and in appreciation of this heritage, we invite you to participate in the music program at St. Martin's Church. We offer something for all age groups and levels of interest, and hope that you will consider how you can take an active role in this important ministry.
Our choirs provide musical offerings for other occasions besides Sunday worship services. The Chancel Choir does a major concert each spring. Works in the past have included Faure’s Requiem, Schubert’s Mass in G and Vivaldi’s Gloria. The children’s choirs present a pageant on Christmas Eve, and a concert each spring.
