Nicolas Deuson, guitar, and Jonathan Pilkington, tenor, form a unique duo in the contemporary classical music world, bridging old and new music with their lyricism and virtuosity. Their repertoire ranges from songs of Renaissance composer, John Dowland, to new music by living composers, including a recent commission by Olivia Kieffer. The duo's upcoming album will feature French folksongs by Mátyás Seiber, English folksongs arranged by Benjamin Britten, and excerpts from Schubert's epic song cycle, Winterreise. Deuson and Pilkington will embark on a concert tour of California in October and are planning other exciting projects at home and abroad. In addition to performing, Deuson teaches at Reinhardt University and has a private studio at his home in Atlanta. Pilkington teaches at Piedmont College, the Lovett School, and also teaches privately in Atlanta. For more information, visit: http://www.nicolasdeuson.com/
