Music at St. Martin’s

We are blessed at St. Martin’s to have many people passionate about music, united to create and support inspiring music. People of all abilities and ages are welcome to participate in our musical groups or help the ministry behind the scenes.

The Chorister’s Prayer

Bless, O Lord, us thy servants,
who minister in thy temple.
Grant that what we sing with our lips,
we may believe in our hearts,
and what we believe in our hearts,
we may show forth in our lives.

Parish CHOIR

The Parish Choir is the foundation of our music program and open to adults and high-school youth. This group learns a variety of choral literature and is dedicated to excellent leadership of our worship at St. Martin’s. In addition to singing for regular Sunday 11:00 a.m. services and our 10:00 a.m. ONE St. Martin’s services, our Adult Choir participates in special liturgies and programs throughout the year. Membership is open to all, regardless of previous musical experience, who can commit to regular rehearsals and services.

Weekly rehearsals are Wednesday from 7:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. and Sunday mornings at 10:00 a.m. (First Sundays of the month meet at 9am.)

The handbell choir

The Handbell Choir is currently in a state of reorganization, but welcomes parishioners from eighth grade through adult. Rehearsals are each Wednesday evening from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. The choir rings at the 11:00 a.m. seasonally.
